Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, device, and method for processing a PFX (Personal InFOrmation ExchangeSyntax) object in a data-processing system. SOLUTION: The PFX object can maintain a syntax defined by the PKCS (Public Key Cryptography Standard) standard to be formatted, concretely PKCS#12. A user can display and edit the details of a data object built into the PFX object by a PFX object utility via a graphical user interface. The data object built into the PFX object can be expressed by the graphical object. The user can drag and drop the object into another object in the PFX object, and the PFX object utility can automatically execute a required operation.

Abstract: A mechanism to dynamically present basic authentication and cookie informati on to a web browser user. As part of a login, a user will have entered a userid and password as part of the basic authentication process. He or she also can configure the web browser to display cookies that are sent to the browser for setting. After their initial display, however, this information is either hidden or not easily accessible to the user. The present invention is a mechanism that allows a web browser user easy access to his or her logged-on userid and cookies.

Abstract: A technique for transferring a graphical object in a graphical user interface on a computer display from a source window to a target window. It is determined that a graphical object from the source window has entered the target window during a drag and drop operation. Next, it is determined that the graphical object has hit an interior boundary of the target window. The target window is scrolled so long as the graphical object continues to hit the interior boundary. Once the target location is visible in the target window, the graphical object is located at the target location at conclusion of the drag and drop operation. Some target windows of the graphical user interface are scrollable during a drag and drop operation with a graphical object from a foreign window, while some windows are not. Thus, in a mixed graphical user interface, it must be determined whether the target window is scrollable during a drag and drop operation.
