Abstract: Input pressure to a peristaltic pump (13) is sensed by a sensor (12) and is transmitted to a microprocessor (15) which receives pump constants K and Pi, and a desired flow rate indication Q0. The microprocessor performs a particular calculation and the result controls the speed of a stepper motor (16), so that the pump provides a constant flow rate despite variations in input pressure.
