Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to process a partial magnification transform without needing much memory. SOLUTION: This system comprises a host side 10 for executing applications and transmitting P-dot width picture data in block units of m-dot width, and a panel side 30 which is connected with this host side via a digital I/F line 29 and displays the P-dot width picture data with the magnification converted into R-dot width, and this panel side 30 comprises blocks having a dot width of an integer of a value obtained from R×m/P, a scaling means for providing scaling by using a block having a dot width of a summed integer which is the sum of the integer and 1, and a display means for converting the magnification of the picture data of block units received from the host side 10 and displaying the data on a panel 35.
