Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joystick control with an icon selection function, a computer system, a method for allowing icon selection and a computer readable storage medium for allowing icon selection. SOLUTION: This joystick control includes a movable joystick lever 20, a means 60 for generating a first control signal that goes along with the movable joystick lever 20 and also moves a movable cursor along an X-axis direction in response to movement of the movable joystick lever 20 in X-axis, a means 62 for generating a second control signal that goes along with the movable joystick lever 20 and moves the movable cursor 86 along a Y-axis direction in response to movement of the movable joystick lever 20 in a Y-axis, and a means 66 that goes along with the movable joystick lever 20 and is for selecting an icon under the movable cursor in response to movement of the movable joystick lever 20 in a first direction along a Z-axis.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for determining time synchronization of a timing device is provided. Geographic position data is obtained from a device associated with the timing device. A current local time is calculated for a location of the device associated with the timing device based on the geographic position data. The timing device is then synchronized with the current local time.
