Abstract: PURPOSE:To automatically register a part of a word which is difficult to convert just enough and to reduce the burden of a user by holding a fair copy where a part of reading lacks as it is, automatically correcting a lacked part by referring to a reading/Japanese reading dictionary at the time of inputting reading corresponding to the fair copy for the next time, executing matching and automatically executing registration. CONSTITUTION:A phonetic substitute word retrieval part 8 retrieves a phonetic substitute word storage part 9 in accordance with an inputted KANA (Japanese syllabary) character string. A reading/Japanese reading dictionary retrieval part 10 retrieves the reading/Japanese reading dictionary 11 for the KANJI (Chinese character) part of the phonetic substitute word without reading so as to obtain reading. An artificial clause generation part 12 discriminates whether the reading of the obtained phonetic substitute word coincides with the inputted KANA character string or not, and generates the clause by the phonetic substitute word. A serial clause conversion candidate generation part 13 generates a serial clause conversion candidate string based on the clause generated in a clause generation part 7 and the artificial clause generation part 12. A phonetic substitute word registration part 14 discriminates the input of a phonetic substitute character, and temporarily stores the word obtained by gathering the nearby clauses including a phonetic substitute character input part in the phonetic substitute word storage part 9.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To operate a Japanese syllabary/Chinese character conversion even when a part of a character string inputted by a character recognizing method includes a Chinese character, and to prevent the large-scale of a dictionary. CONSTITUTION:A new heading is introduced in addition to the heading of the normal reading of a dictionary word. First of all, unique meaning reading is made to correspond to the Chinese character. For example, 'NE' 'KON', and 'SEI' 'JO' are uniquely corresponded. This reading is called 'representative reading' of the Chinese character. The entire Chinese characters of the dictionary words including the Chinese characters are converted into the Japanese syllabary by using the representative reading, and the new heading of the pertinent dictionary word can be introduced. The recognized character columns are converted into the Japanese syllabary by using the representative reading by an extending reading preparing part 3, and a Japanese syllabary/ Chinese character conversion can be operated by using a Japanese syllabary/ Chinese character conversion dictionary 6 including the normal heading and the new heading.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the contents of a document on desired display conditions while holding the layout of the relevant document. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a web browser for displaying the document of the determined layout, and a display control part 20 for controlling the display method of the document based on this web browser. The display control part 20 is provided with a layout structure analytic part 21 for analyzing the layout structure of the document, a frame location determining part 22 for dividing a page for displaying this document with an allocated frame reflecting the layout structure of this document provided by analysis in the layout structure analytic part 21 on the condition that the contents of this document are to be displayed on the desired display conditions, and an intra- frame display contents determining part 23 for determining the contents of the document to be displayed inside this allocating frame for each allocating frame determined by the frame location determining part 22.
