Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent information of an information processing apparatus, from being accessed in an unauthorized manner by loss or theft. SOLUTION: The information processor is provided with a storage device; a division part dividing data stored in the storage device into a predetermined first number of pieces of partial data of a reference number or more than this by a secret dispersion method, requiring the predetermined reference number of pieces of the partial data in the restoration of the data; a transmission part for transmitting at least one piece of the partial data among the first number of pieces of the divided partial data, to at least another information processor, and deleting them from the storage device; an accessing part for accessing at least one piece of the partial data from at least another information processor and storing them in the storage device, when the data are restored to the storage device; and a restoration part for restoring the data to the storage device, based on the reference number of pieces of the partial data, on the condition that the reference number of pieces of the partial data be stored in the storage device by the acquisition of the partial data.
