Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a non-streaming server to simulate a streaming server by sending a URL request to various uniform resource locators(URL) including a uniform resource locator sequence(URLS) and determining the timing of the request according to the timing data of the URLS. SOLUTION: A series of URLs, the sizes of the contents of the URLs, data regarding the expected continuance of display, and a header having general properties of the contents of the URLs are included. Then, the URL request is sent to various URLs including the URLS and the timing of the request is determined according to the timing data of the URLS. Further, a URL request is made according to a URL list and the statistics of response times to the URL request are obtained. According to them, the timing of calling a following URL in the sequence is determined and thus the arrival of linked data can nearly simulate actual streaming.
