Abstract: In a development environment for message flows, a user defined flow may be processed into a more efficient optimized flow. However, debugging execution of the optimized flow may be confusing to the user where a correspondence between connections in the optimized flow and connections in the user defined flow a re not direct. To mitigate this confusion, a connections mapping table is generated along with the optimized flow. The deploy document received by the runtime may include enou gh information to recreate the connections mapping table such that during debugging of the optimized flow, the user may follow the user defined flow. The use of a stac k at the runtime allows a debugger to maintain awareness of previous pauses in execution caus ed by the placement of breakpoints on connections in the user defined flow while directing the runtime through execution of the optimized flow.

Abstract: Message oriented middleware publish/subscribe technology and wireless push protocol is used to provide wireless messaging services for wireless devices. In the exemplary embodiment, a messaging system brokers messages between publisher applicatio ns (i.e. content providers) and wireless client devices (i.e. content subscribers), receiving and distributing messages to subscribers having subscribed to particular content. Messages are pushed to clients via a wireless gateway using a wireless push protocol. Message content subscription is used to filter messages to subscribers with fine granularity to provide a higher quality of service.

Abstract: A technique for serializing both logical and physical meta-model information in a single file is disclosed. In an embodiment, the logical meta-model information is serialized in an Extensible Marking Language (XML) schema compliant format, and the physical meta-model information is inserted into the logical meta-model in suitable locations su ch that the mappings between the logical and physical meta-models are preserved. In an embodiment , an XML "appInfo" annotation is used to carry physical meta-model information used b y multiple applications and suitably placed in a nested configuration with its corresponding logical meta-model information.
