Abstract: An airbag housing incorporating a molded bin body adapted to store an airbag cushion. A plurality of molded-in surface ribs projects outwardly away from the exterior of the molded bin body. The molded bin body includes a layer of polymer substrate material disposed in over-molded relation to a layer of laminate material providing enhanced toughness and resistance to embrittlement at low temperatures.
