Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas fuel injector having an electromagnetic solenoid with a flat and rectangular armature arranged on a seat member to form a valve. SOLUTION: The valve 17 is kept in a closed position by a difference between a fuel pressure at one side and an atmospheric pressure in a release chamber at the other side to produce the further closing force of a spring 23 in contact with the armature 13. The armature is driven apart from its seat 15 by the pulsing operation of each coil 12 of the solenoid to open the formed valve, permitting gas to be injected from the injector. The injector has an integrally formed release nozzle. Two apertures located at a center, formed in the armature along a side space formed by the rectangular armature, are provided for a gas flow to pass through the injector.
