    Abstract: The module has a transmission component(s) whose light is coupled into an optical waveguide and/or a receiver component(s) for light coupled out of the waveguide, which is a single piece of waveguide in the module with an inclined end. Light of one data channel is reflected at a wavelength selective filter and coupled in or out at an angle to the optical axis. Light of the other channel passes though the angled surface. The module has at least one transmission component (1) whose light is coupled into the optical waveguide containing the channels and/or at least one receiver component (2) for the light coupled out of the waveguide. The optical waveguide is formed in the module as a single piece of waveguide (3) with an inclined end (303) and has or is connected to a wavelength selective filter (4). Light of one data channel is reflected at the filter and coupled in or out at an angle to the optical axis (301) of the waveguide piece. Light of the other channel passes though the angled surface. There is a free radiation zone between the angled surface and the components (1,2).
