    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame free from a defect found in a prior art. SOLUTION: In this door frame, a column 2 is considered to be a basic element capable of being combined with an external profile member 10 having different shape and dimensions. In a desirable embodiment, the column 2 comprises a platy profile member 4 having two U-shaped waveform parts 5 and 6 and a plate 7 fixed to the profile member 4 and covering the waveform parts 5 and 6.
