Abstract: On the downlink, a mobile radio signal transmitted by a base station and a television signal may be received over the downlink by an external television aerial located on a building roof. After reception, these signals may be transmitted via a wired communication link to a processing module located in a confined space in which the terminal is located. The mobile radio signal may be extracted, amplified and sent by the processing module so as to be received by the terminal. On the downlink, the terminal may transmit a mobile radio signal to a base station. Alternatively, the terminal may transmit a radiofrequency signal received by the processing module which amplifies it and transmits it to a base station, with or without frequency transposition, and with or without format conversion.
