Abstract: A communication device including one or more processors configured to generate a modulated signal, wherein the signal is modulated according to a modulation scheme; send the modulated signal; receive a signal error measurement signal representing a signal error of the modulated signal measured by a receiver of the modulated signal; determine a signal adjustment based on the signal error measurement signal; and adjust the modulation scheme based on the determined signal adjustment, wherein the modulations scheme defines a mapping of a plurality of constellation points to the modulated signal; and wherein the plurality of constellation points are configured according to a quadrature amplitude modulation, wherein the quadrature amplitude modulation comprises four corner constellation points.

Abstract: Monodirectional antennas may be arranged to radiate in a near omni-directional pattern. By incorporating switches into the antenna arrangement, the antennas can be controlled to selectively radiate from a common radiofrequency feed. These arrangements may be packaged in a housing, which may aid both in antenna performance and in antenna installation. According to another aspect of the disclosure, housings may include a plurality of antennas, and one or more procedures may be implemented to determine a codebook to radiate from the circular arrangement according to various beam constrains.

Abstract: A transmitter for chip to chip communication may include a modulator and a transmit frequency converter. The modulator may modulate a first received signal according to a first modulation scheme. The modulator may also modulate a second received signal according to a second modulation scheme. The transmit frequency converter may center the first received signal on a first frequency that does not comprise a phase within a radio frequency (RF) domain to generate a first centered signal. The transmit frequency converter may also center the second received signal on a second frequency that comprises a phase within the frequency band to generate a second centered signal. The second centered signal may be orthogonal to the first centered signal. A frequency gap may be positioned between the first centered signal and the second centered signal within the frequency band.
