Abstract:
A plurality of pinion gears 4A, 4B which are rotatably held within a differential case 2, a pair of left and right side gears 6L, 6R disposed in meshing engagement with the pinion gears and connected to left and right axles, respectively, and thrust washers 16L, 16R interposed between the rear surfaces of the side gears and the internal surface of the differential case are provided. The differential case is of a one-piece type, and is formed with an opening 2b in its sidewall which is used in assembling the pinion gears and the like. The internal surface of the differential case is formed with pinion gear holders 12A, 12B. The pinion gears are inserted, followed by the insertion of the side gears. The side gears are spaced from the pinion gears by an amount corresponding to the thickness of the thrust washers, and this allows the side gears to be inserted in following relationship with the pinion gears.
Abstract:
A planetary gear 5 is contacted at its at least one tooth of all its teeth 51n with an end edge 23d facing an inner releasing part 23c of an inner peripheral surface of a receiving hole 23a irrespective of a rotational position of the planetary gear 5. By doing so, the planetary gear 5 is prevented from moving in the radial direction. As a result, the planetary gear 5 can be prevented from vibrating in the radial direction. Thus, vibrations of a planetary gear apparatus can be reduced, and the planetary gear and a carrier can be reduced in damage.
Abstract:
A planetary gear device, wherein a planetary gear (5) allows, irrespective of the rotating position thereof, one or more teeth of teeth (51n) to bring into contact with the end edge (23d) of a storage hole (23a) facing the inside opening part (23c) on the inner peripheral surface thereof to prevent the planetary gear (5) from moving in the radial direction, whereby the vibration of the planetary gear (5) in the radial direction can be prevented and, accordingly, the vibration of the planetary gear device can be reduced and the degree of damage to the planetary gear and a carrier can be reduced.

Abstract:
A differential gear device for vehicle, wherein a cylindrical support part (4a) is formed in a carrier, storage holes (4b) are formed in the support part (4a), planetary gears (5) are rotatably stored in the storage holes (4b), one side inner peripheral surfaces and the other side inner peripheral surfaces of the storage holes (4b) in the circumferential direction of the support part (4a) are formed of arc faces having the same curvature radius as the radius of the planetary gears (5), and the centers of the curvatures of the arc faces forming one side inner peripheral surfaces and the other side inner peripheral surfaces of the storage holes (4b) are separated from each other in the circumferential direction of the support part (4a), whereby intervals between one side inner peripheral surfaces and the other side inner peripheral surfaces of the storage holes (4b) can be increased by an amount of separated distances between the curvature centers more than the outer diameters of the planetary gears.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential device for a vehicle capable of suppressing the seizure of the gear outer peripheral parts of pinion gears by sufficiently supplying a lubricating oil to the gear outer peripheral parts of the pinion gears. SOLUTION: This differential case comprises: a case body 2A rotated by receiving a torque from a drive source; and a plurality of pinion gear support parts 2B, 2C which are installed in the case body 2A and which slidably support the pinion gears 3, 4. The pinion gear support parts 2B, 2C comprise lubricating oil supply parts 30, 31 having through-holes for supplying the lubricating oil to the sliding surfaces of the pinion gears 3, 4, respectively.
