Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a plurality of photodiodes arranged on a substrate; a front light including a light guide plate disposed so as to overlap the photodiodes and a light source configured to emit light to a side surface of the light guide plate; and an optical filter layer provided between the photodiodes and the light guide plate of the front light. The optical filter layer includes a plurality of light guide paths that at least partially overlap the photodiodes, and a light-blocking portion having higher absorptance of the light than the light guide paths. The detection device includes a reflective layer that is provided between the light guide plate and the optical filter layer and overlaps the light-blocking portion of the optical filter layer.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection apparatus includes: an optical sensor including a sensor base member and a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements that are provided on the sensor base member and each of which is configured to output a signal corresponding to light emitted to the photoelectric conversion element; and a lighting device including a plurality of first light-emitting elements configured to emit first light having a first maximum emission wavelength and a plurality of second light-emitting elements configured to emit second light having a second maximum emission wavelength. Each of the photoelectric conversion elements has responsivity in a wavelength region including a wavelength region of the first light and a wavelength region of the second light.

Abstract: An optical sensor capable of obtaining a plurality of types of information by a plurality of wavelengths in a short time is provided. The optical sensor includes a light receiving unit that includes a first and second pinhole layer that includes a plurality of pinholes, a first and second transmission layer, and a plurality of microlenses belonging to a first and second group, the microlenses being disposed at positions respectively overlapping the plurality of pixels on the second transmission layer. Either of the plurality of microlenses belonging to the first or second group is a first wavelength selection unit that transmits light of a first wavelength. At least one of the other of the plurality of microlenses belonging to the first and second group, the first transmission layer, and the second transmission layer is a second wavelength selection unit that transmits light of a second wavelength.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device comprises first and second substrates and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a base member, a sensor between the base member and the liquid crystal layer, a collimation layer between the sensor and the liquid crystal layer, an insulating layer between the sensor and the collimation layer, an insulating layer, and a light shielding layer between the sensor and the base member.
