    Abstract: A display device and manufacturing method thereof with a high level of reliability is provided without increasing the number of manufacturing processes. The display device includes a first conductor, a first insulation layer including a first contact hole exposing a part of the first conductor, a second insulation layer including a second contact hole exposing at least a part of the first contact hole and a part of a surface of the first insulation layer, a pixel electrode overlapping a part of the second contact hole and electrically connected to the first conductor, and a third insulation layer contacting the first insulation layer via the second contact hole.

    Abstract: A display device includes a first pixel and a second pixel arranged in a first or a second direction, each of them has a pixel electrode, a contact hole under the pixel electrode, a bank on the pixel electrode, and an opening provided in the bank and on the pixel electrode. A first imaginary line connecting the center of the contact hole of a first pixel and the center of the contact hole of a second pixel is substantially parallel to the first direction or the second direction, a second imaginary line connecting the center of the opening of the first pixel and the center of the opening of the second pixel is substantially parallel to the first direction or the second direction, and each of straight-line sides of the openings of the plurality of pixels has an angle with respect to both of the first and the second direction.
