    Abstract: PURPOSE: To decrease yield of noises due to phase deviation caused by rapid absorption and the like, by detecting a sample light component and a reference light component having different frequencies, and performing specified electric processing.
    CONSTITUTION: Light emitted from a light source becomes sample luminous flux 13 with a frequency (f) and reference luminous flux with a frequency 2f through plane mirrors 2 and 3, concave mirrors 4 and 5, and choppers 17 and 18. Both luminous fluxes 13 and 14 pass a sample cell 15 and a reference cell 15, respectively, are guided to a monochrometer 11 through plane mirrors 6 and 7, a half mirror 8, a concave mirror 9, and a plane mirror 10, and are inputted to a detector 12. Its output is sent to an amplifier 19, filters 20 and 21, and rectifiers 22 and 23, and rectified by the aid of synchronized wave signal from a synchronized waveform device 24, which is synchronized with the choppers 17 and 18. The sample component output S' is sent to a differential amplifier 26 directly and through a differential circuit 25. A sample signal S, from which noises are removed, is sent to a divider 27. The ratio between the signal S and a reference signal R from the rectifier 22 is obtained and recorded in a recorder 28. Thus the generation of the noises can be decreased.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease errors accompanied by phase deviation, by detecting a specified phase difference between sample light intensity and reference light intensity, performing specified electric processing of the detected signal, thereby compensating the phase shift of the detected signal. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from a light source 1 becomes sample luminous flux 13 and reference luminous flux 14 through plane mirrors 2 and 3 and concave mirrors 4 and 5. The luminous fluxes 13 and 14 pass a sample cell 15 and a reference cell 16, are alternately inputted to a monochrometer 11 through plane mirrors 6 and 7, a rotary sector 8, a concave mirror 9, and a plane mirror 10, and are received by a detector 12. Its output becomes DC signals S' and R' through amplifiers 17 and 18 and synchronous rectifiers 19 and 20. Both signals S' and R' are guided to differential amplifiers 21 and 23 directly and through a differential circuit 22. Signals S and R, from which noises are removed, are sent to a divider 24. The value of a ratio S/R is obtained and recorded in a recorder 25. Since the phase shift of the detected signal is corrected and the noises are offset to each other out, errors due to the phase shift can be decreased.
