Problem: To apply a hair preparation uniformly to a hair strand, including shoulder length or longer hair, using a hair preparation applying implement while preventing inconveniences, such as excessive application and coloring of the scalp. Solution: The hair cosmetic product of the invention includes a hair preparation 3 having a viscosity of 3 to 30 Pa-s at 30°C and a hair preparation applying implement 1 having an applicator portion 2 for applying the hair preparation hair. The applicator portion 2 has a plurality of comb teeth 22 arranged in a substantially annular form and a comb teeth seat 20 which fixes the comb teeth. At least one of the plurality of comb teeth 22 has a guiding mark 22m for informing a user of the dispensing amount or the retaining amount of the hair preparation 3 to be dispensed into the space surrounded by the plurality of comb teeth 22. The mark 22m is preferably provided at a position 1 to 5 mm away downward from the distal end of the tallest tooth 22.
