Abstract: Ein Toner für die elektrostatische Bildentwicklung, enthaltend ein Harzbindemittel, ein negativ aufladbares Ladungssteuerungsmittel und ein positiv aufladbares Ladungssteuerungsmittel, wobei das Harzbindemittel mindestens einen Polyester enthält, wobei ein Carbonsäurebestandteil des Polyesters Isophthalsäure und/oder einen Ester davon und Fumarsäure und/oder einen Ester davon enthält, mit der Maßgabe, dass, wenn zwei oder mehr Polyester verwendet werden, der Carbonsäurebestandteil als Gesamtbestandteil genommen wird, und wobei das negativ aufladbare Ladungssteuerungsmittel einen Metall enthaltenden Azofarbstoff und/oder einen Metallkomplex der Salicylsäure enthält, und wobei der Toner einen Erweichungspunkt von 90 bis 120°C aufweist. Der erfindungsgemäße Toner für die elektrostatische Bildentwicklung kann geeigneterweise beim Entwickeln von Latentbildern, die z.B. in der Elektrophotographie, einem elektrostatischen Aufzeichnungsverfahren, einem elektrostatischen Druckverfahren und dergleichen erzeugt werden, verwendet werden.
