    Abstract: The use of pulverized coal as the fuel to be injected into a metallurgical or combustion furnace becomes possible enabled by improving the transportability thereof. Further, a pulverized coal is provided, which is inhibited from bridging or channelling in a hopper, or piping choking. A water-soluble inorganic salt having a polar group is made to adhere to pulverized coal which is prepared from raw coal having an average HGI of 30 or above and which is in a dry state at the injection port of a metallurgical or combustion furnace, the inorganic salt being selected from among BaCl2, CaCl2, Ca(NO2)2, Ca(NO3)2, Ca(ClO)2, K2CO3, KCl, MgCl2, MgSO4, NH4BF4, NH4Cl, (NH4 ) 2SO4, Na2CO3, NaCl, NaClO3, NaNO2, NaNO3, NaOH, Na2S2O3, NaS2O5, HNO3, H2SO4, H2CO3, and HCl.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the conveyability of pulverized fine coal by sticking a specified chemical on the pulverized fine coal made of raw coal having >=30 average HGI. SOLUTION: This specified chemical is composed of a water soluble organic compound having a polar group and the purpose for using this chemical is to reduce triboelectric charge quantity of the pulverized fine coal. Consequently, mutual sticking is the pulverized fine coal is prevented. By this method, the conveyability of the pulverized fine coal having >=30 average HGI and usually poor in conveyability is improved and a large amount convey is attained. The usable range in the kind of coal is extended. Further, since the fluidity of the pulverized fine coal is improved, the hanging and channeling in a hopper and clogging of the piping can be prevented. In the opration of a metallurgical furnace or a combustion furnace, the improver is added desirable at 0.01-10wt.% per the pulverized fine coal, and the pulverized fine coal added with the improver is blown from a blowing hole of the furnace in the drying condition.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transportability of dried pulverized coal as well and to stably execute blowing of the pulverized coal by mixing solid compd. powder of a specific grain size at a specific ratio with the pulverized coal at the time of using the pulverized coal in a metallurgical furnace and combustion furnace. SOLUTION: The flow property of the pulverized coal varies with the kinds, particle sizes and difference in moisture of the pulverized coal to be used at the time of using the inexpensive pulverized coal in the metallurgical furnace, such as blast furnace, and the combustion furnace, such as boiler, and the discharging and transporting conditions of the pulverized coal from a hopper vary largely thereby, making the smooth transportation infeasible. The dust consisting of the solid compds., such as SiO2 , and other metal oxide, etc., having a volumetric average grain size of =30 of the pulverized coal to be used for the purpose of ameliorating the shortbacks described above. The defects, such as piping closure during the transportation by the gas, the scaffolding of the pulverized coal in the hopper and blow-by, are eliminated and the stable blowing of the pulverized coal to the metallurgical furnace, etc., is assured.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To greatly improve the transportability of pulverized coal having an average HGI of raw coal of a specific value or above by sticking an org. compd. which has polar groups and is substantially soluble in water to the pulverized coal. CONSTITUTION: This pulverized coal transportability improving agent consists of the org. compd. which has the polar groups, such as anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, lower fatty acids and lower fatty acid salts, and is substantially soluble in water. Such pulverized coal transportability improving agent is stuck to the dried pulverized coal having the average HGI (average grindability index) of the raw coal of >=30. As a result, the transportability of the pulverized coal is greatly improved and, therefore, the restriction on coal kinds is removed, piping closing and scaffolding in a hopper are prevented and the stable blowing of the pulverized coal in large amt. are made possible.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To extrude a uniform thickness multi-row composite resin sheet, the side edge parts of respective resins of which are sufficiently bonded to one another, by a method wherein resin is flowed at the specified angle in between resins, the physical properties of which are different from those of said resin and which are produced by ramification and, after that, enlarging widthwise, so as to join each other. CONSTITUTION:First resin 20 is introduced through a flow path 3 of the first resin, ramified by ramification passages 4, enlarged at coat hangers 6 and flowed into a conflux part 12. On the other hand, second resin 21, the physical properties of which are different from those of the first resin 20, is introduced through a flow path 8, ramified by ramification passages 9, enlarged at coathangers 11 and flowed into the conflux part 12. At the conflux part 12, the second ramification of resin 21, 21... enter between the first ramifications of resin 20, 20... so as to bond to one another by their side edge parts in order to form a uniform thickness multi-row composite resin sheet.
