Abstract:
Provided is an aldehyde production method that can provide target aldehydes with excellent aldehyde selectivity and a high conversion for a long period of time. The method includes bringing a mixed gas containing a vaporized primary alcohol and an inert gas into contact with a film-type dehydrogenation catalyst so as to dehydrogenate the primary alcohol in the mixed gas, thereby obtaining an aldehyde. The partial pressure of the primary alcohol in the mixed gas is 50 kPa or lower, and the film-type dehydrogenation catalyst is formed by providing a thin film catalyst layer on a support.

A catalyst fibrous structure having a catalyst metal carried on a fibrous structure, wherein (a) a Log differential micropore volume distribution curve thereof obtained by measurement using a mercury intrusion technique has a peak having a maximum micropore diameter in the range of from 0.1 mm to 100 mm; (b) a Log differential micropore volume at the peak is 0.5 mL/g or more; and (c) an amount of a catalyst metal compound and a binder carried per unit volume is 0.05 g/mL or more. A production method for producing a catalyst fibrous structure having: (1) mixing a catalyst metal compound or a catalyst precursor, and an inorganic binder and a solvent; (2) grinding the mixture to obtain a coating material of the catalyst metal compound or the catalyst precursor having a median particle diameter of 2 mm or less and a viscosity of from 10 mPa-s to 200 mPa-s; (3) impregnating a fibrous structure with the coating material to fill up voids of the fibrous structure with the coating material of the catalyst metal compound or the catalyst precursor; (4) heating and drying the fibrous structure, directly as it is, at a temperature not lower than the boiling point of the solvent; and (5) heating and calcination the dried fibrous structure at a temperature not lower than the dehydration temperature of the inorganic binder to obtain a catalyst fibrous structure.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing aldehyde excellent in an initial conversion rate, and capable of obtaining a target aldehyde with a high conversion rate over a long period of time.SOLUTION: The method for producing aldehyde comprises contacting a gas containing a vaporized primary alcohol with a dehydrogenation catalyst to dehydrogenate the primary alcohol to obtain an aldehyde. The dehydrogenation catalyst is a film-type dehydrogenation catalyst composed of a thin film-like catalyst layer including a powder catalyst, and a silicon-containing resin as a binder on a support medium.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facial heating implement imparting uniform heat to desired portions of a face because variation is difficult to occur in a heating value, and easy to be fitted to the desired portions of the face to furthermore enhance a use feeling.SOLUTION: The facial heating implement 1A includes: flat heating elements 2; and covering materials 3 covering the whole including both 2a, 2b faces of the heating elements 2. The heating elements 2 equipped in the facial heating implement 1A has constriction parts 21 in central parts 2e of both side parts 2c, 2d in a plan view.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic heat generation body which suitably follows the largely movable region of a human body, is excellently fitted to the body, especially, from the middle stage to end stage of use, and effectively shows the hyperthermic effect of the heat generation body and the efficacy. SOLUTION: The elastic heat generation body has a heat generation composite body where a heat generation material is held between non-elastic porous sheets. The heat generation composite body is joined with an elastic member to be superimposed on the composite body at a point sealing part arranged within the end edge of the composite body when viewing in plane. A non-joint superimposition part of the elastic member, which is superimposed on but not joined with the heat generation composite body, is elastic and independent from the heat generation composite body. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sheet-like molded body by rotating and transferring sheet members which achieves rotation and transfer processing, the method having high degree of freedom without using a complicated mechanism.SOLUTION: The method for producing a sheet-like molded body comprises: a sheet member cutting step, in which a set of four pieces of sheet members on the front, back, right and left sides in an initial arrangement are cut out from a sheet master roll in a substantially continuous fashion in the longitudinal direction so that the sheet members are axially symmetric in the transverse direction and have identical shapes in the longitudinal direction; and a rotation and transfer step, in which the set of sheet members are held by a transfer means and are rotated axially so as to place two diagonal pieces of the members at right and left positions deviated in the transfer direction, and to further rotate by the transfer means the two members located diagonally to be placed respectively on the right and left of the already placed two sheet members.

SOLUTION: In the adhesive tape roll 1 for cleaning, a long-length belt-like tape 4 in which many sheets of adhesive tapes Tn each having adhesive part 3 on one surface 2a of a substrate 2 are connected in one direction via cutting lines 5 is wound with the adhesive parts 3 facing outside. At the cutting lines 5 and in the vicinity along the cutting lines 5, there are non-adhesive parts 7 substantially not adhesive. The extending length L1 of a portion extending in a winding direction R from each cutting line 5 of the non-adhesive parts 7 is 1-10 mm. An interval between adjacent cutting lines 5, 5 exceeds 360° by the perimeter in the winding direction R. An adhesive part 3 at an adhesive tape T1 in the outermost layer extends from the rear end T1b in the winding direction R of the adhesive tape T1 toward the front end in a lower layer adjacent to the outermost layer. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warmer for a face, which is easily treated, permits a user to freely select a chemical and uniformly supply the chemical to a skin-abutting sheet, is soft and can more improve a sense of use.SOLUTION: The warmer 1 for a face includes: a flat heating element 2; a coating material 3 with which an entire part having both surfaces 2a and 2b of the heating element 2 is coated; and a chemical holding sheet 4 having a fiber material arranged on an outer surface of one surface 3a of the coating material 3. The one surface 3a of the coating material 3 and the chemical holding sheet 4 are connected together by many connecting parts 5 on the heating element 2.
