An electrophotographic toner comprising a binder resin, a colorant and a reinforcement, wherein the reinforcement comprises a resin particle prepared by coating a core layer comprising an acrylate copolymer and/or a methacrylate copolymer having a glass transition temperature of 0 DEG C or below or a diene copolymer having a glass transition temperature of 0 DEG C or below with a vinyl polymer having a glass transition temperature of 50 DEG C or above; a toner reinforcement comprising the resin particle; and an image forming method of nonmagnetic one-component development type using a blade which applies electric charges while controlling the thickness of the developing roll and that of the toner layer formed on the roll, which method is characterized by the use of the above electrophotographic toner.

The materials of the linear elements (11, 22, 61, 111, 161, 211, 222, 461, 461') and meshed elements (311, 361, 411) are capable of charging the powder paint by static electricity generated by friction between the powder paint and the elements.

A catalyst for the production of condensation polymer resins (CPR) for toners comprises titanium compound(s) with substituted amino groups and alkoxy, alkenyloxy or acyloxy groups and/or titanium compound(s) with 4 alkoxy, alkenyloxy and/or acyloxy groups. A catalyst for the production of condensation polymer resins (CPR) for toners comprises titanium compound(s) of formula Ti(X)n(Y)m (I) and/or Ti(Z)4 (II); X = a substituted 1-28C amino group; Y = 1-28C alkoxy, alkenyloxy or acyloxy; n, m = 1-3; (n+m) = 4; Z = 8-28C alkoxy, alkenyloxy or acyloxy. Independent claims are also included for (1) condensation polymer resin materials comprising CPR and a catalyst as above (2) toners containing these materials (3) a method for the production of CPR for a toner in presence of (I) and/or (II) as catalyst.

The present invention relates to an eletrophotographic carrier characterized by that the surface thereof is coated and cured with a partially hydrolyzed sol obtained from at least one alkoxide selected from the group consisting of silicon alkoxides, titanium alkoxides, aluminum alkoxides and zirconium alkoxides, and the production process therefor. Use of the carrier of the present invention mixed with a toner to prepare a developer can always supply a stable image without a coated layer being peeled off during use.
