Abstract:
Compositions for taking dietary fibers which contain from 1 to 50% by weight, on the basis of the whole composition, of dietary fibers comprising water-soluble and hardly fermentable dietary fiber and water-soluble and fermentable dietary fiber, characterized in that the content of the water-soluble and fermentable dietary fiber ranges from 0.1 to 3 parts by weight per part by weight of the water-soluble and hardly fermentable dietary fiber. These compositions remarkably ameliorate not only bowel movement frequency but also full consciousness, feeling of unsatisfied defecation, etc. Thus these compositions are useful as foods for ameliorating bowel movement.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a composition for taking dietary fibers, which comprises 1 to 50% by weight, on the basis of the whole composition, of dietary fibers composed of water-soluble and hardly fermentable dietary fiber and water-soluble and fermentable dietary fiber, wherein the water-soluble and fermentable dietary fiber is contained in a proportion of 0.1 to 3 parts by weight per part by weight of the water-soluble and hardly fermentable dietary fiber. The composition remarkably ameliorates not only bowel movement frequency but also full consciousness, feeling of unsatisfied defecation, etc. and is hence useful as food for ameliorating bowel movement.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alginic acid-containing acidic milk beverage, suppressed in coagulation/precipitation of milk components and having favorable appearance and palate feeling. SOLUTION: The alginic acid-containing acidic milk beverage includes components (A) 0.3-8 mass% of the alginic acid, (B) 0.01-1 mass% of high-methoxy pectin and (C) 0.06-2 mass% of potassium ion. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packed drink allowing the precipitation in a long-term storage from the viewpoint of taking active components of vegetables and fruits into the drink while minimizing the deterioration of component, however, quickly dissolving the precipitate containing the active component of the vegetables and fruits simply by lightly shaking the drink and, accordingly, having excellent desorbing property and redispersing property of the precipitate to enable the uniform discharge from the vessel and easy drinking. SOLUTION: The vegetable and/or fruit juice drink packed in a vessel contains (A) 0.5-6 mass% alginate with smaller molecular weight, (B) 0.5-10 mass% decomposed guar gum, (C) 2-30 vol% insoluble solid and (D) ≥85 mass% water and satisfies the requirements of (1) (A)+(B)≤12 mass%, (2) (A)/(C)≤1.9 (mass%/vol%), (3) the pH of 3-5 after thermal sterilization treatment and (4) the viscosity of ≤300 mPas after thermal sterilization treatment. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably use a makeup material foundation for evaluation of makeup material by providing a spectral dent in a specified wavelength area of the spectral reflecting characteristic of the bed. SOLUTION: The spectral dent means a dent having a spectral form caused by that the reflectance, in a wavelength range of, for example, 500-620nm, becomes lower than the reflectance Rstd (λ) of a linear spectrum passing the reflectances in 500nm and 620nm. As coloring materials, a coloring material A having an infection point in 510±25nm and a coloring material having an infection point in 620±25nm are preferably used in combination. In the spectral reflection spectrum of a makeup material foundation in which yellow No. 410 and red No. 202 are blended, the area is 541.4%.nm, and the maximum differential spectrum value between the linear Rstd (λ) and the reflectance Rskin (λ) is 12.2%. This bed is visually sensed similarly to the actual natural skin, and the color after a foundation is seen similarly to the actual natural skin under various light sources.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid composition keeping good taste and flavor even by incorporating chlorogenic acid, a chlorogenic acid analog or one of their salts in a high concentration. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) the chlorogenic acid, the chlorogenic acid analog or one of their salts and (B) a calcium compound at an A:B mass ratio of 1:(0.5-22). Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the taste, such as bitter taste or astringent taste, of a vegetable juice, fruit juice, or tea extract. SOLUTION: This drink, such as a vegetable juice, fruit juice, or a tea extract, contains a water-soluble carboxyl group-having acidic polysaccharide. This water-soluble acidic polysaccharide is preferably an alginate. The drink preferably further contains a sugar alcohol.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for intake of dietary fibers capable of remarkably improving not only inadequate frequency of bowel movements but also curing puffed-belly feeling or residual stool feeling, and therefore useful as a food for improving the dejection. SOLUTION: This composition contains dietary fibers comprising a water-soluble and hardly fermentable dietary fibers and water-soluble and fermentable dietary fibers, at 1-50wt.% based on the whole quantity of the composition. The composition is characterized by containing 0.1 to 3 pts.wt. of the water-soluble and fermentable dietary fibers per pt.wt. of the water-soluble and hardly fermentable dietary fibers.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize sporogenous lactobacillus having health-promoting effect and useful for foods, pharmaceuticals, etc., in aqueous solution by storing the sporogenous lactobacillus in an acidic aqueous solution having a specific pH and containing a hydrophobic substance having a specific logP value. SOLUTION: A sporogenous lactobacillus such as Bacillus coagulanse having health-promoting effect such as intestinal environment improving effect and useful for foods and pharmaceuticals is stabilized in an aqueous system such as aqueous solution by storing the lactobacillus in an aqueous solution having pH of =2.5. The hydrophobic substance is preferably one or more materials selected from hydrophobic proteins, hydrophobic peptides, hydrophobic amino acids, food oils and fats, antioxidants, emulsifiers, etc.
