    Abstract: A solid detergent composition is disclosed, which comprises the following components (A) and (B): (A) an N-acyl compound represented by the following formula (1) R1CONH(CH2)2COONa(1) wherein R1CO represents a straight chain acyl group having 10 to 16 carbon atoms; and (B) one or more compounds selected from higher fatty acids and higher alcohols. This solid detergent composition is low-irritative and excellent in foaming properties and foam texture, gives no squeaky feel during and after rinsing and imparts a smooth feel to skin. It is highly suitable, in particular, for cleansing the skin.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a solid detergent composition, containing a specific phosphoric acid ester, an isethionic acid derivative (salt) and isethionic acid (salt), having low irritancy to the skin and good in productivity and mold releasability without deteriorating the foaming or touch. CONSTITUTION:This solid detergent composition is obtained by blending (A) 10-50wt.% phosphoric acid ester (salt) expressed by formula I [R is a 12-22C hydrocarbon; X and Y are each H, an alkali metal, ammonium or an alkanolamine having a 2-3C hydroxyalkyl group; (n) is 0-10] (e.g. sodium monolauryl phosphate) with (B) 10-50wt.% isethionic acid derivative (salt) expressed by formula II (R is a 9-17C hydrocarbon; Z is H, an alkali metal, ammonium or an alkalnolamine having a 2-3C hydroxyalkyl group) (e.g. sodium cocoylisethionate) and (C) 0.01-10wt.% isethionic acid (salt) expressed by formula III (e.g. sodium isethionate).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simply obtain a solid detergent remarkably reduced in its swelling and dissolution collapse when used, by a specific method using a fatty acid (ester), an alkali metal salt and an anionic synthetic surfactant as raw materials. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of this method for producing a solid detergent by neutralizing a fatty acid with an alkali metal salt or saponifying a fatty acid ester with an alkali metal salt comprises simultaneously adding an alkali metal salt solution having a water content of >=50% and an anionic synthetic surfactant (e.g. sodium monoglyceride sulfate) or an amphoteric surfactant (e.g. an alkyl betaine) to obtain the objective detergent containing the fatty acid alkali metal salt in an amount of >=30%. Concretely, e.g. a fatty acid (ester) is charged in a kneader and subsequently mixed with the alkali metal salt aqueous solution and the surfactant simultaneously to neutralize or saponify the fatty acid (ester). The alkali metal salt is preferably Na salt or K salt.
