Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled article which is flexible and tough and has moisture-proofness and moisture permeability, by melt-molding a compsn. contg. a polyolefin resin, a filler and a triglyceride and stretching the resulting film or sheet. CONSTITUTION:A compsn, contg. a polyolefin resin (e.g. linear low-density polyethylene), a filler (e.g. CaCO3) and a triglyceride (pref. triglyceride of an 8-22C fatty acid) is melt-molded into a film or sheet, which is then stretched (e.g. monoaxially stretched at a draw ratio of 1.5 or above) to obtain a porous film or sheet. The product is flexible and tough, has good moisture proofness and moisture permeability and is useful as clothing, medical material, sanitary material (e.g. moistureproof and moisture-permeable sheet of diaper), filter, battery separator, etc.

CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. low-density polyethylene and/or polypropylene is blended with (B) 20-400pts.wt., preferably 60-200pts.wt. filler having =1.2 times draw ratio.
