Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition that obtains high cleaning realization, simultaneously, easily gives foams of high viscosity by cleaning action itself of rubbing the skin with the hand or a cleaning tool such as a cleaning towel, cleaning sponge, etc., easily supplies force physically from the outside to the skin from the cleaning action by taking advantage of high foam viscosity and provides a high massaging feeling.SOLUTION: A detergent composition includes 2-30 mass% of (A) an anionic surfactant, 0.5-15 mass% of (B) a carboxymethyl cellulose having an etherification degree of >0 and ≤0.9 or its salt and (C) water. The average particle diameter of component (B) dispersed in the composition is 0.5-1,000 μm.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleansing composition which can remove not only a common makeup but also both oil-based and film formation type mascara, can further effectively remove mascara containing a large amount of an alkyl acrylate copolymer which forms a particularly stiff film among latex polymers being the film forming agents resulting in an all-purpose makeup remover, and has excellent application feeling.
SOLUTION: This cleansing composition comprises (A) a water phase containing, in 1-25 mass% therein, a water-soluble compound (a) which has a polyoxypropylene structure having ≥3 of propylene oxide addition number of moles, but does not have a ≥4C alkyl group and a polyoxyethylene structure, and (B) an oil phase in liquid form at 30°C. The mass ratio of the water phase (A) to the oil phase (B) is 97:3 to 40:60, and water is contained in >10 mass% based on the whole composition.
