Abstract: A hair treatment composition contains: (A) a silicone derivative selected from alkoxy-modified silicone derivatives having a melting point of not less than 30 DEG C, dimethyl polysiloxanes having a viscosity of not less than 1000000 cSt at 25 DEG C and from methylphenylpolysiloxanes having a viscosity of not less than 1000000 cSt at 25 DEG C; (B) a quarternary long-chain monoalkylammonium salt; (C) a quarternary long-chain dialkylammonium salt and/or a quarternary branched alkylammonium salt; and (D) an oxidising agent. The composition according to the present invention does not damage the hair during hair treatment, is able to impart a pleasant feel to the hair and can keep the colour of the treated hair from being modified with time.
