Abstract: PURPOSE: A flat glass edge and groove simultaneous forming machine is provided to rapidly form a groove which is advanced along the longitudinal direction of each side with fixed width and depth. CONSTITUTION: A flat glass edge and groove simultaneous forming machine comprises edge polishing wheels(11a,11b,13a,13b) and a pair of blade sank-shaped diamond saws(15a,15b). The edge polishing wheel which polishes the both cut surfaces of the flat glass is installed on the both sides of flat glass conveyor belts(23a,35b). A pair of diamond saws are fixed on the both sides of the conveyor belt in the backend of the edge polishing wheel. The diamond saw molds the groove of the smaller width along the longitudinal direction o the edge than the edge thickness.
