Abstract:
People mover (1), more particularly a travelator or corresponding, which comprises a plurality of steps or corresponding for carrying and moving people, a transmission chain formed into an endless loop, which transmission chain is connected to the aforementioned steps or corresponding, and via which transmission chain the steps or corresponding are moved, and which transmission chain comprises consecutive chain links, which are connected in a hinged manner to each other such that the chain links are able to bend in relation to each other in a first direction (I) and in a second direction (II), and which' transmission chain is arranged to pass around at least two turning elements (5,6), when passing around which the consecutive chain links of the transmission chain bend in relation to each other in the first direction. The transmission chain comprises means for limiting bending of the transmission chain occurring in the second direction (II).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for use in the assembly of an axial-flux permanent-magnet synchronous machine. The machine comprises a stator (2) provided with windings (1) and a rotor (4) provided with permanent magnets. An air gap (5) being provided between the stator and rotor. A known interdependence of the magnetic attraction between the stator (2) and the rotor (4) and the magnitude of the air gap is determined beforehand. Based on this interdependence, a target value of magnetic attraction corresponding to the target value of the air gap is determined. When the machine is being assembled, the rotor (4) and stator (2) are moved axially with respect to each other by means of a hoisting device (7) to adjust the air gap (5) towards the aforesaid predetermined target value. During this movement, the magnetic attraction between the stator (2) and rotor (4) is measured and compared to the above- mentioned target value of magnetic attraction. After the magnetic attraction has reached its target value, which corresponds to the target value of the air gap, the mutual position of the rotor and stator is locked.
Abstract:
People mover (1), more particularly a travelator or corresponding, which comprises a plurality of pallets (11) or corresponding for carrying and moving people, which pallets are arranged one after the other and form an endless track, which track comprises an upper track section (U) and a lower track section (L), and which people mover (1) comprises an area of direction change of the pallets (11) or corresponding, when in which area a pallet (11) or corresponding is arranged to move between the upper track section (U) and the lower track section (L), and a motor (3) for producing the driving force needed to move the pallets (11) or corresponding. The people mover comprises a flywheel (8), which is arranged to even out with its rotational energy the movement in the travel direction of the pallet track.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a moving walk having an endless conveyor member comprising pallets and at least one longitudinal drive member to which the pallets are connected, which drive member is engaged by a drive unit, whereby the endless conveyor member runs in a middle section of the moving walk along an upper conveying track and along a lower return track; at both ends of the middle section a respective end section is located, whereby each end section comprises an entrance/exit area of the moving walk and a transfer means for transferring the endless conveyer member from the conveyor track to the return track and vice versa. The middle section comprises a self-supporting support structure, wherein the support structure is formed by roller rails, by cross beams and by support brackets, whereby the roller rails have an upper rail surface for rollers of the pallets, the cross beams connect the roller rails and/or the support brackets on both sides of the moving walk and the support brackets comprise the footing of the support structure and are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the roller rails and wherein the roller rails and/or the cross beams are mounted to the support brackets. This space saving support structure is easy to deliver to the building site and easy to install.
Abstract:
A people mover (1), preferably a sliding walkway or sliding ramp, which comprises conveyor elements (2) for supporting and moving passengers, which are ar¬ ranged as an endless conveyor element loop, and a power source (3) for driving the conveyor element loop, and which people mover comprises guide rails (G1,G2) supporting the conveyor elements (2,2'), which are arranged to move on said guide rails and to receive vertical support from them via supporting rollers, for which purpose the conveyor element loop comprises a number of supporting rollers. The con¬ veyor element loop comprises a number of conveyor elements (2,2'), each one of which is arranged to receive vertical support from the guide rail (G1,G2) via one or more supporting rollers (4,4'), the rim cover (9) of said supporting roller (4,4') being made of a polymer that has a hardness of at least 90 Shore A and at most 94 Shore A.
Abstract:
People mover (1), more particularly a travelator, escalator or corresponding, which comprises a plurality of conveyor elements (11), such as pallets, steps or corresponding, for carrying and moving people, which conveyor elements (are arranged successively and) form an endless track, which track comprises an upper track section (U) and a lower track section (L), and which people mover (1) comprises an area of direction change (R) of the conveyor elements (11), when in which area a conveyor element (11) is arranged to move between the upper track section (U) and the lower track section (L), and a guide rail part (21) in the area of direction change (R), which guide rail part is arranged to produce support force, which guides the conveyor element, on the conveyor element travelling guided by the guide rail part. The aforementioned guide rail part (21) is flexible in the area of direction change.
