Abstract: A back support consisting of a base (1) and geometrical bodies (3) applied on at least one side thereof in form of pyramids or cones and/or cylinders and/or wedges and/or semispheres or similar. The bodies are arranged in at least two straight lines parallel to one another running lengthwise in the center. The distance between the lines corresponds approximately to the width of a vertebral body. The distance between each geometrical body (3) arranged on a straight line corresponds roughly to the length of a vertebral body.
