Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for generating multiple phase signals are provided to minimize power consumption since time difference between phase signals is adjusted by using a phase delayed buffer. CONSTITUTION: A first phase signal and a second phase signal are inputted. The time difference between the inputted first phase signal and second phase signal is adjusted. A third phase signal is generated by synthesizing the first phase signal and the second phase signal of which the time difference is adjusted. An adjusting phase reduces the time difference between the first phase signal and the second phase signal. The adjusting phase reduces the time difference between the first phase signal and the second phase signal by delaying the inputted first phase signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for determining the state of an analog and a method thereof are provided to perform a higher speed operation compared to a determination circuit in a conventional digital method by adopting a current mode. CONSTITUTION: A three-state determining apparatus includes a switch array(110) and a 3-state determination part(120). The switch array includes switches of a UP-group and a DN-group. The switch is composed of an MOS device. The switch array transfers one output current corresponding to the difference of the switching number of the DN-group and the switching number of the UP-group to the 3-state determination part. The 3-state determination part changes output currents from the switch array into two state currents by using an analog type circuit consisting of current sources and MOSs(Metal Oxide Semiconductor). The 3-state determination part determines the switching state of the switch array by using two state currents.
