Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting system construction method for a machine parts process and for a machining condition based on a classification code knowledge base. SOLUTION: The supporting system construction method for a machine parts process and for a machining condition based on a classification code knowledge base contain a first stage for automatically retrieving a designing and manufacturing parts group by parts group classification logic which is made into a knowledge base based on retrieved group coding and connecting the retrieved result with a machining condition data base 12, a machine process data base 13 and an engineering data base 1A, a method for operating the first stage by the machining condition data base 12, the machine process data base 13, the engineering data base 1A and the knowledge base through the first stage and a second stage for supporting a rule for supporting a process by individual forms and the procedure of the process and suppressing a machining condition for the rule.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unify design and work, and realize an automatic working plan by a computer to shorten a development period for a product, by automatically obtaining data concerning a working plan from three-dimensional shape data obtained from a CAD system, by a computer. SOLUTION: At first, shape data from a CAD system are received in an input part 10, and then a surface and an angle are extracted from the shape data to constitute the linking graph of the surface and the angle (the linking graph constitution 21 of the surface and the angle) in a processing part 20, and cutting point search and a subordinative graph are created (cutting point search and subordinate graph creation 22) by using the linking graph of the surface and the angle, to extract the fearure shape for the working plan by the linking graph of the surface and the angle, the cutting point, and the subordinative graph (extraction 23 for the feature shape), thereby outputting the feature shape from an output part 30.
