Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for linearizing an adaptive array antenna system. The apparatus and method for linearizing an adaptive array antenna system uses an identical feedback path as feedback path for estimation of a transfer function and a feedback path for linearization of each transmission channel in a multi-channel transmitter, thereby reducing hardware complexity of an adaptive array transmitter.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A delay compensation distribution type base station system is provided to acquire equal frame timing regardless of the location of a wireless apparatus by measuring route delay time respectively generated in an optical line. CONSTITUTION: Two or more uplink delay measurement units(311-1~311N) acquire uplink delay measurement values. A control unit(314) inputs a control signal for controlling uplink delay to each uplink delay compensation unit(322-1~322-N). Each uplink delay compensation unit compensates the delay of an uplink signal. Each uplink delay compensation unit outputs the compensated signal to a control apparatus.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A pre-distortion method based on polynomial expressions is provided to overcome discontinuity appeared at the boundary of regions by extracting the coefficients of the polynomial expressions. CONSTITUTION: Inputting signals which are the targets of pre-distortion are divided into polynomial expression regions(S210). A plurality of coefficient extracting regions are obtained(S220). The coefficient extracting regions correspond to the polynomial expression regions and include overlapped regions and the corresponding polynomial expression regions. Polynomial expression coefficients, which model the non-linear characteristic of the outputting signals, are extracted(S231). The coefficients of the extracted coefficients corresponding to the polynomial regions pre-distort the inputting signals by each polynomial region(S232).

Abstract: PURPOSE: An amplifier structure and an amplification method thereof are provided to remarkably reduce a delta-sigma modulation speed by performing delta-sigma modulation for an intermediate frequency input signal. CONSTITUTION: A delta-sigma modulator(110) performs the delta-sigma modulation of an input signal according to a received clock signal. A local oscillation signal generator(130) generates a local oscillation signal according to the received clock signal. An up converter(120) up-converts a delta-sigma modulated signal to a carrier frequency signal. A power amplifier(140) amplifies the up-converted signal. A bandpass filter(150) filters only an original signal amplified from the amplified signal. A linearizer(160) compensates for the nonlinear characteristics of the delta-sigma modulator and the nonlinear characteristics of the power amplifier in order to maintain the linearity of an entire system.
