    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always keep a monitor to a fixed standard state by comparing/ analyzing the voltage data measured with a sensor with the standard data and adjusting voltages of voltage supply devices of red, green, blue supplying the voltages to the electron guns of the monitor. SOLUTION: The sensor 50 measures voltages for three beams by the command of a processor 20 to send the measured voltages to the processor 20 together with the data of the color temp. state of the present monitor. The processor 20 compares the beforehand inputted data for the voltages of three beams in a standard white luminance state for the color temp. of the relevant monitor with the collected data, and judges whether or not the collected data exist within the range of the error of the standard data, and when out or the range, judges whether or not the voltage of the sensor data is lower than the voltage of the standard data, and when lower, instructs a controller to increase the voltages of the electron guns, and when higher, instructs to lower the voltages.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor of a nonlinear color gamut width using a multiple convergent point enabling color printing matched with the color of an image expressed on a display device. SOLUTION: The compressor of the nonlinear color gamut width is provided with a color information transforming means 210 for transforming the coordinate inputting variables of red, green and blue forming the image of a color display and input device 100 to luminance L*, chroma C* and hue h* by using three stimulation values X, Y, Z and the color coordinate system of CIE L*, a*, b*, a color gamut width compressing means 220 for nonlinearly compressing the color gamut width of luminance based on color information received from the means 210 and compressing the color gamut width of luminance-chroma toward the multiplexed convergent pint, and a color information inverse transformation means 230 for inversely transforming the variables of luminance L*, luminance - chroma L*-C* and the hue h* compressed by the means 220 to the color coordinates of cyan, magenta, yellow and block, which can be used by an output device 300, again.
