    Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for monitoring and tracking an electromagnetic field in real time are provided to construct a safe electromagnetic environment by tracking a dangerous discharge source. CONSTITUTION: A receiving sensor unit(102) receives a broadband electromagnetic signal. A frequency scanning unit(104) extracts a waveform for a service according to each frequency band. A monitor unit(108) calculates a peak exposure index and monitors information about a dangerous electromagnetic field discharge source and a service signal with the maximum value. A tracking unit(110) searches the location of a signal source. A remote transmitting unit(112) performs a remote transmission. A remote monitor unit(114) feeds back the information about the dangerous electromagnetic field discharge source to the tracking unit.
