    Abstract: PURPOSE: An error and distortion control method for a discharge hour meter in a wireless sensor network is provided to minimize sensor node activation period according to time by distinguishing all events in a sensor network. CONSTITUTION: Message transmission and reception time is measured between a parent sensor node(101) and a child sensor node(103). A first discharge hour meter is synchronized based on the measured transmission and reception time.
