Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for determining iterative decoding of a decoder are provided to reduce unnecessary repetition by changeably controlling the Iterative decoding operation of a CTC decoder according to radio channel environments. CONSTITUTION: An iterative decoding determination part(24) includes an error count part(241), a comparison part(242), and a repetition determination part(243). The iterative decoding determination part further includes a threshold value setting part(244). The error count part produces errors by comparing second decoding data for hard decision outputted from the first decoder with fourth decoding data for the hard decision outputted from a second decoder. The comparison part compares counted errors with a threshold value. The repetition decision part performs iterative decoding based on a comparison result of the comparison part.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for demodulating a signal are provided to improve the overall performance of a received uplink HARQ signal by using different methods for processing signals received from each antenna. CONSTITUTION: A FFT part(10) performs a FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) process for HARQ(Hybrid automatic repeat request) signals. A HARQ sequence generation part(40) generates a HARQ sequence. A first modulation processing part(20) performs pre-combing in which a signal corresponding to a maximum value is outputted from correlation values obtained from the correlation with the HARQ sequence. A second modulation processing part(30) outputs the signal corresponding to a maximum value from the correlation values. A selecting part(50) selects either the signal outputted from the first modulation processing part or a sequence signal outputted from the second modulation processing part based on signal-noise ratios of received HARQ signals.
