Abstract: PURPOSE: A mobile robot device and a door control device and a method for opening/closing the door are provided to easily open and close a door by manipulating a door handle because various door opening methods for moving a robot are offered. CONSTITUTION: A mobile robot device(100) comprises an image recognition unit(120) and movement control unit(110). The image recognition unit recognizes a position of an open button installed near a door through image analysis after obtaining information about peripheral images. The moving control unit manipulates the open button recognized by the image recognition unit, thereby generating opening selection signals and opens the door. The moving control unit opens the door using a door control device(200) according to the opening selection signals.
