    Abstract: PURPOSE: An adaptive transmission signal detecting method and an apparatus thereof are provided to efficiently detect a transmission signal by controlling the quantity of calculation. CONSTITUTION: A receiver receives a reception signal vector(S100). The receiver presumes a channel matrix(S110). The receiver performs QR analysis based on the presumed channel matrix(S120). The receiver calculates division spaces based on SNR(Signal to Noise Raito) or SINR(Signal-to-Interference Noise Ratio)(S130). The receiver detects an ML(Maximum Likelihood) point within the division space(S140). The receiver restores a transmission signal vector(S150).
