Abstract:
A method for constructing a database having image information representing a plurality of images including the steps of: a) calculating Lx5 number of normalized edge histogram bins to generate L number of edge histograms of a target image, wherein each edge histogram has five normalized edge histogram bins and represents a spatial distribution of five reference edges in a sub-image and L is a positive integer, wherein the reference edges include four directional edges and a non-directional edge; b) non-linearly quantizing the Lx5 number of normalized edge histogram bins to generate Lx5 number of quantization index values for the target image; c) storing the Lx5 number of quantization index values to the database; and d) repeating the steps a) to c) until all of the stored images are processed to thereby construct the database having the image information.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A medicine taking compliance management system and method thereof are provided to synchronize medicine taking schedules by receiving the taking medicine state of a user or an ID(Identification) code recognized by a medicine-taking support apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A medicine taking support apparatus(110) provides alarm services to a user according to a medicine taking schedule corresponding to the recognized ID code. The medicine taking support apparatus confirms the medicine taking state of the user. A medicine taking management server(130) receives the medicine taking state of the confirmed user or an ID code recognized by the medicine taking support apparatus. The medicine taking management server transmits the medicine taking schedule for the received ID code to the medicine taking support apparatus. The medicine taking management server synchronizes the searched medicine taking schedule according to the medicine taking state of the user.

Abstract:
A method for compensating the distance of an ambient display by using the linear regression and smoothing and a system therefor are provided to predict the current location of a user accurately by using the previous data stored in a queue. A system for compensating the distance of an ambient display comprises a data input unit(230), a processing method determining unit(240) and a calculation unit(250). The data input unit inputs the current distance and angle data of a user and a PIR sensor value which are respectively received from an ultrasonic receiver and a PIR sensor mounted in a display. The processing method determining unit selects a calculation method for compensating the current distance and angle values of a user by analyzing information inputted from the data input unit.
