Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the low pass filter adopting the microstrip open stub line system in which an unevenness of a passing rate at a pass band is reduced and a flatness degree is improved. SOLUTION: The low pass filter adopting the microstrip open stub line system includes a filter pattern consisting of a single crystal substrate 4 with an excellent microwave characteristic, of an input terminal 1a for signal transmission formed to one side corner on the single crystal substrate 4, of an output terminal 1b for signal transmission formed to the other side corner opposite to the one side corner at which the input terminal 1a for signal transmission on the single crystal substrate 4 is formed, of five stub conductors 3 filtering a signal and formed perpendicularly to the signal progress direction between the input terminal 1a and the output terminal 1b on the single crystal substrate 4, and of four strip conductors 2 formed perpendicularly to the stub conductor 3, and a ground conductor 5 (Ti/Ag) formed under the single crystal substrate 4.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the characteristic impedance of the band pass filter to be an optional impedance by varying parameters such as a line width and a diameter of a torus or disk duplex mode resonator with perturbation structure. SOLUTION: A torus duplex mode resonator forms a 2-pole band pass filter and since the number of microstrip coupling line 4 is one, the total number of poles is five. The center frequency is designed to be 500MHz and the coupling line 4 is realized to be a diversified mode to attain excellent coupling. A signal transmission input terminal 1a and an output terminal 1 are made of high temperature superconducting microstrip lines whose resistance is nearly 50ohms and in contact with glass beads fitted to a housing of a test jig. In this case, in order to minimize the contact resistance and the loss, a gold pad 2 is vapor- depositted through electron rays onto the microstrip conductors and a dual layer (Ti layer/Ag layer) thin film is vapor-depositted to the electric matching and contact with the inner bottom face of the test jig through electron rays.
