Abstract: The aim of the present invention is to encode or decode multi-view video in an efficient manner. A method for multi-view video decoding according to one embodiment of the present invention includes reading, from a received bit stream, a block type which indicates a determination system of a motion vector of the present block in the present picture, reading a first picture type which indicates whether or not the present picture is a reference picture type for inter estimation, reading additional information on the present picture on the basis of at least one of the block types of the present block and the first picture type of the present picture, and restoring the present block and the present picture by using additional information on the present picture.
