본 발명은, DMB 전송신호 품질 측정 장치 및 그 방법과, 그를 이용한 DMB 방송 수신 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 방송망을 통하여 수신된 DMB 전송신호로부터 에러 보정 전에 직교변조 신호(예를 들면, I/Q 신호)를 생성하여 신호 품질을 측정함으로써, 신호 품질의 정확성을 높이고자 한다. 이를 위하여, 본 발명은, DMB 전송신호 품질 측정 장치에 있어서, DMB 전송신호를 수신하여 디지털 IF(Intermediate Frequency) 신호로 변환하기 위한 수신 처리 수단; 상기 디지털 IF 신호를 복조하여 직교변조 신호를 생성하기 위한 복조 수단; 및 상기 직교변조 신호를 이용하여 신호품질 측정값을 구하기 위한 신호품질 측정 수단을 포함한다. Abstract:
PURPOSE: An error-correction code method using layer modulation and an apparatus thereof are provided to enable variable control of error-correction code rate using layer modulation. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit(310) is input with transmitted-data. The first forward error correction encoder(320) produces first parity bits for forward error correction of the transmitted data by the application of first forward error correction code. A second forward error correction encoder(330) produces second parity bits by applying second forward error correction codes on the transmitted data or the first parity bits. A layer modulator(340) modulates the transmitted-data and the first parity bits into an HP stream. The layer modulator modulates the second parity bits into an LP(Low Priority) stream.

The present invention relates to a transmission method, a transmission apparatus, a reception method, and a reception apparatus of a digital broadcasting signal that can add frame header information to a front portion of a transmission frame in a transmission system for digital broadcasting to thereby determine a different transmission mode, modulation level, hierarchical modulation, error correction code, and the like for each temporally different transmission frame, and a transmission frame structure thereof. The transmission frame structure includes a frame header containing multiplexing information of the transmission frame, and a frame body containing data information associated with a service provided by the transmission frame. Also, the frame header may include a frame synchronization signal unit including synchronization signal information for extracting a start position of the transmission frame and a frame information unit including multiplexing information of data contained in the transmission frame. The multiplexing information denotes information associated with a transmission mode, a modulation level, a hierarchical modulation, and an error correction code of the data contained in the transmission frame.

Disclosed are a signaling method for a stereoscopic video service and an apparatus using the method. An image decoding method comprises: a step of determining a field value based on a broadcast service type and a display mode in decoding a program level descriptor; and a step of determining an encoded stream type, whether an elementary stream is a reference stream, whether the elementary stream is a left-eye image or a right-eye image, additional image upsampling information and information on a subsampled line. Thus, efficiency of encoding/decoding an additional image for a stereoscopic video content may increase.

The apparatus of the present invention irradiates a pattern image onto a target object, photographs the image of the scene in which the pattern image is reflected by the target object, and extracts a texture image and a depth image at the same time using the image of the scene.

Provided is a broadcasting receiving method and device. The method detects the time of a televised broadcasting program, and provides the broadcasting program to the user from the start thereof. More specifically, the method requests transmission of the broadcasting program before a first time through the second network at the first time of the broadcasting program received through the first network, and stores the broadcasting program received through the first network at the first time. The broadcasting program, which was broadcasted before the first time, received through the second network from the first time to the second time is displayed and the stored broadcasting program after the second time is displayed.
