Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic closing device for a fire door is provided to rapidly close a fire door in the fire by operating the fire door using a drive motor. CONSTITUTION: An automatic closing device for a fire door comprises a main body(10), a drive motor(20), a housing(30), a guide(40), a stopper unit(50), and a drive gear(70). The main body is formed on the top of a fire door in a box-shape and receives an arm formed on a door closer therein. The drive motor is powered inside the main body and has a rotary shaft(21). The housing is operated when the drive motor is powered. The guide guides the housing inside the main body. The stopper unit is moved back-and-forth when the drive motor is powered. The drive gear is connected to an interlocking shaft(71). The interlocking shaft is connected to the arm of the door closer and rotated with the door closer.

CONSTITUTION: A door release for a fire door comprises a main body(10), a driving motor(20), a controller(25), a housing(30), an actuating holder(40), a ring holder(50), a top case, and side cases. The main body comprises an inserting hole(10h) in which a ring unit of a fire door is inserted. The driving motor is operated by electrical signals at the outer surface of the main body. The controller allows the driving motor to rotate forward and backward. The housing is moved up and down by the operation of the driving motor. The actuating holder comprises an actuating plate(43) on which an actuating pin(44) is formed and an actuating torsion spring. The actuating torsion spring applies elasticity to the actuating plate in order to rotate the actuating plate and to fix the location of the actuating plate. The ring holder comprises a ring torsion spring(50s) for fixing the location of a ring plate(53) while rotating the ring plate. The top case covers the upper part of the main body. The side cases cover both sides of the main body.
