Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cab enabling surroundings of a prime mover to be widely opened and also excellent in economics and strength. SOLUTION: A seat-supporting stand 12, a cab floor 14 and a control tower 13 are connected to form one structural body. The structural body is coupled with a chassis frame 8 through a connecting part 31a situated in the tower 13 so as to be able to rotate around the center P of a shaft. A changeover between a maintenance state where the stand 12 is separated from the frame 8 so as to open surroundings of an engine 2 and an operating one where the stand 12 is coupled with the frame 8 so as to cover the engine 2 is carried out around the center P at a stroke. The control tower 13 made of synthetic resin and a handhold 31 made of metal are fixed on the control tower 13. The connection part 31a is made of metal and is equipped with the handhold 31.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation part structure of a combine harvester capable of increasing the floor area of the operation part while increasing the area of the outer side face of the front-side wall as far as possible without excessively retreating the front-sidewall from the operator's seat. SOLUTION: An operation seat 11 is attached to the top face of a top board 12a of a seat-supporting bed 12. The front-sidewall 12b of the seat-supporting bed 12 is formed on its outer side face with an edge line 12d extending sideways on the machine body, a downward slope 12e positioned below the edge line 12d and an upward slope 12f positioned above the edge line 12d. The height H1 of the edge line 12d from the floor face 14a of the operation floor 14 is set to enable the sitting on the operation seat 11 and position the knee at the height when the foot is placed on the floor 14a. The face of the downward slope 12e is inclined in a manner to retreat toward the back of the machine body from the edge line 12d to the floor face 14a. The face of the upward slope 12f is inclined to retreat toward the back of the machine body from the edge line 12d to the top board 12a.

The plane area of the sitting space is set to be larger than the floor area of the operation floor 14 at a level equal to the top of the side cover 15. The sitting space may be provided with a sitting space part curved by top view in a manner to position the convex part at the outside of the sitting space at a level equal to the top end of the side cover 15.
