Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable to pack an object into a holding bag held in an open state easily and improve the operation efficiency by effecting in sequence steps of separating a holding bag laid atop from underlying holding bags, opening out the holding bag separated from atop the pile, and altering the attitude of the holding bag to that for receiving the object for packing. CONSTITUTION: In a bag-taking part there are provided a first suction part N1, whose suction works on the topmost holding bag 27 laid atop a multiplicity of holding bags 27 piled in a bag-holding part 3, and a first suction part-moving mechanism A in a setup to have the topmost holding bag 27 in a separable manner. Furthermore, there are provided a pair of second suction parts N2, whose suction severally works on the front side and back side and at parts near the opening of the separated holding bag 27, and second suction part- moving mechanisms B in a setup to open out the holding bag 27 along the opening and alter its attitude to that for receiving an object for packing. A holding bag shape-redressing nozzle N3 is provided as a means of blowing air into the holding bag 27 now opened up through the opening.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To accurately detect whether the cutting has been carried out in a specified length for an adhesive tape after being drawn out of an adhesive tape roll with its front end nipped correctly for a packaging apparatus that wraps up a substance to be packaged in a packing sheet and fastens the packing sheet with the adhesive tape. CONSTITUTION: A temporary support part 37 that temporarily supports an adhesive tape 4 draw out of a tape roll with its adhesive surface stuck, holding parts 32 and 33 which hold the front end of the adhesive tape 4 from both sides, a cutter 35a which cuts the drawn-out adhesive tape 4, and a pressing member 43 that presses, preceding the cutting by the cutting 35a, the non- adhesive surface of the adhesive tape 4 toward the temporary holding part 37 are provided. The, detection is made to find whether electricity passes through the temporary holding part 37 and the pressing member 43 when the non-adhesive surface of the adhesive tape 4 is pressed against the temporary holding part 37 with the pressing member 43, and judgement of abnormality is made if electric current is detected.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To minimize the remodeling of control constitution of a packing device itself in the necessary and least limit, by connecting an output means of feed completion to a starting means for a packing device to start the packing device in accordance with the signal output of feed completion. CONSTITUTION: A controller 38 for a feeding device and a controller 39 for a packing device are provided in packing equipment to wrap vegetables and fruits up in packing sheet. When an optical sensor 31 detects that a feeding conveyor 32 is loaded with an article and transferred to the position of a grasping conveyor 33, the article is held by the grasping conveyor 33 to transfer it onto the packing device. When the feed completion of the article is checked by a detector 40 due to the output from the positional sensor, an output signal is transmitted from a feed completion output means 41 by use of relay switches. This feed completion output means 41 is connected to the output circuit of a starting switch 37 by a wire connector 42 to transmit the starting signal from the feed device side to the packing device.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly detect a condition where a drawing mechanism is not smoothly moved by detecting the changing ratio of a detecting signal to time for outputing the position of the drawing mechanism which pinches the end part of a packaging sheet and moves. SOLUTION: When a top board 39 and a holding arm 38 pinch the end part of a packaging sheet 1 and a drawing mechanism 35 being at a drawing position is started to move to the pinching position side on the left of the paper face, a potentiomeyer 59 continuously outputs detecting signals and the changing ratios B of the signals are continuously detected. This changing ratio B is compared with a set value (e.g. 1/2 of the value of an ordinary changing ratio B) and if the changing ratio is at least the set value B1, it is judged that the drawing mechanism is normally moving toward the pinching position side. On the contrary, if the changing ratio B is smaller than the set value B1, it is judged that an abnormality such as biting of a foreign matter into somewhere in the drawing mechanism 35 occurs and movement of the drawing mechanism 35 to the pinching position side becomes dull. It is possible thereby to detect precisely the abnormal condition.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To dispense with operation of a start switch and increase the efficiency of packaging work, by constituting the structure so as to automatically start packaging on leaving hands after one has inserted an article to be packaged into an opening on a packaging base by hands, in a packaging device for agricultural products, in which spherical products are wrapped in a packaging sheet. CONSTITUTION: When an article A in hands is dropped from the above side into an opening 2a made on a packaging base 2, a packaging sheet 1 is contracted at the outer edge of opening 2a and the article A is wrapped in the packaging sheet 1. The upper side part 1a of the packaging sheet 1 which has wrapped the article A on the support base 3, is contracted from the lateral side by a holding means 14, and the contracted part is sealed by a sealing means 4, 13 to finish the packaging. In this case, a first sensor 31 detects whether an article A exists on the support base 3 or not and a second sensor 32 installed on the packaging base 2 automatically starts to actuate the holding means 14 and the sealing means 4, 13, in the state that is does not detect operator's hands.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent damage to a work tool, cutter, etc., which is caused by the operation of moving the cutter to a cutting position, by a method in which, by the operation of a manual switch, the cutter is moved in which, by the operation of a manual switch, the then stopped, and, after the elapse of set time, moved again to the cutting position. CONSTITUTION:By manually operating a cutting switch, a buzzer sounds to indicate the descending of a cutter 12 toward a cutting position. By releasing the cutting switch to return it to an original position, a photosensor 26 detects whether a draw-out mechanism 16 has moved under the cutter 12 or not. When the draw-out mechanism 16 is not positioned under the cutter 12, as illustrated in the upper figure, the buzzer stops, and the cutter 12 and a support frame 13 descend only a short distance from the position illustrated in the upper figure and then stop. After a short elapse of set time, the cutter 12 and the support frame 13 further descend to the cutting position to cut a wrapping sheet 1. After cutting, the cutter 12 and the support frame 13 are made to ascend to return to the position illustrated in the upper figure.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the detection accuracy of a movement distance by a method wherein the change rate of a detection value by a rotary potentiometer with reference to the movement of a moving body is made large in a movement- distance detection apparatus which detects the movement distance of the moving body by a shaft which is turned so as to be interlocked with the moving body and by the rotary potentiometer. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus is provided with a rotary potentiometer 21 which outputs detection values (V0 to V1) corresponding to angles of rotation from 0 deg. to 360 deg. of a shaft which is turned so as to be interlocked with a moving body 16. The number of outputs N' of how many times the potentiometer 21 has output the corresponding detection values (V0 to V1) repeatedly from 0 deg. to 360 deg. from the running start of the moving body 16 is detected, a detection value V3 by the potentiometer 21 after that is detected, and the movement distance of the moving body 16 is detected.
