Abstract: Provided is a casting facility with which the occurrence of trouble and manufacturing defects in the casting process can be prevented. This casting facility is equipped with: a mold forming line (10) that forms a casting mold; a melting line (20) that produces molten metal to be poured into the casting mold; and a pouring line (30) that pours the molten metal into the casting mold. This casting facility also is equipped with: a touch panel (12), which is arranged in the mold forming line (10) and is for entering whether a casting mold is a good product or a defective product; an automatic pouring device (31) which is arranged in the pouring line (30) and, on the basis of an input on the touch panel (12), automatically pours molten metal into only those casting molds that have been determined to be good products; and a touch panel (32), which is arranged in the pouring line (30) and, on the basis of an input on the touch panel (12), displays whether a casting mold in the pouring line (30) is a good product or a defective product.

Abstract: Providing a method of managing manufacturing data of cast products, which can allow inspection of intermediates in a manufacturing process, the intermediates affecting the quality of cast products and being hard to inspect after completion of the cast products. Various manufacturing data of cast products are registered on a database (1) and managed. The method includes a first data acquisition step of acquiring manufacturing data of a sand mold (11) in a mold making process (10) of making the sand mold (11) and a second data acquisition step of acquiring manufacturing data of molten metal in a molten-metal making process (30) in which casting metals are melted to make molten metal and the molten metal is tapped off. The manufacturing data acquired in the first and second data acquisition steps are registered on the database and managed while being correlated with every one of the corresponding cast products.

Abstract: Provided is a casting facility with which molten metal can be produced and poured into casting molds without waste. This casting facility is equipped with: a mold forming line (1) that forms casting molds (40) on the basis of a mold forming plan; a melting line (2) that has a pouring ladle (51) for pouring molten metal into the casting molds (40), and produces molten metal on the basis of a discharge plan; and a pouring line (3) that pours the molten metal from the pouring ladle (51) into the casting molds (40). This casting facility also is equipped with: an input device (32), which is arranged in the mold forming line (1), and is for inputting casting mold pass/fail assessment information indicating whether a casting mold (40) is a good product or a defective product; a lot forming device (32) that forms lot information setting multiple casting molds (40) as one lot, when the required amount of molten metal to be poured into casting molds (40) (which have been assessed as good products in the sequence for inputting the casting mold pass/fail assessment information into the input device (32)) is totaled, and that amount exceeds a prescribed pouring amount that has been set so as to be no greater than the pouring capacity of the pouring ladle (51); and a discharge plan generation device (8) that generates a discharge plan on the basis of the lot information.
