Abstract:
An image reading device includes a contact glass having a document placing surface, an index part to be an index for aligning a corner of a document to a reference point within the document placing surface, a reading portion configured to read the document, and a light emitting portion configured to emit linear light extending in a main scanning direction. When a predetermined point apart from the index part within the document placing surface is set as the reference point, the light emitting portion moves in a sub-scanning direction so that a region of the contact glass irradiated with the linear light coincides with the predetermined point, and emits the linear light.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus main body, a connector portion, and a developer housing container. The connector portion is located on the apparatus main body and includes a first input/output terminal. The developer housing container is removably mounted to the developing device. The developer housing container includes container body that houses a developer to be replenished to the developing device and a storage unit mounted to an outer surface of the container body. The storage unit includes a second input/output terminal for electrical connection to the first input/output terminal. In a state where the developer housing container is mounted to the developing device, the developer housing container has a posture changeable between: a first posture where the second input/output terminal is separated from the first input/output terminal, and a second posture where the second input/output terminal contacts the first input/output terminal to be electrically connected.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a toner storage member which includes a substrate portion and which supplies a toner, a terminal portion and a determination portion. The substrate portion is one substrate which includes a remaining amount detection portion and a memory. The remaining amount detection portion includes a detection circuit which outputs a voltage corresponding to the remaining amount of toner. The memory stores an output value (empty output value) of the detection circuit when the toner storage member is in an empty state. The determination portion compares the empty output value with the output value of the detection circuit to determine whether or not the toner storage member is in the empty state.
Abstract:
A line filter includes a flat plate-shaped cable and a flat core. A through hole is formed in the core. The cable includes: a first penetrating portion which enters the through hole in the core from an inlet of the through hole and is passed through an outlet of the through hole; a second penetrating portion which enters the through hole in the core from the inlet of the through hole and is passed through the outlet of the through hole; and a first connecting portion which connects the first penetrating portion on a side of the outlet of the through hole to the second penetrating portion on a side of the inlet of the through hole not through the through hole. When viewed in a normal direction of a main surface of the core, the second penetrating portion overlaps with the first penetrating portion at least partially.
