    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner and a production method of the toner excellent in heat-resistant storage property, low-temperature fixability and durability.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner includes core-shell particles as a binder resin, each particle including: a core part containing an amorphous resin (A) having a softening point of 105°C or lower, obtained by polycondensing a carboxylic acid component containing an alkenyl succinic acid with an alcohol component; and a shell part containing an amorphous resin (B) obtained by polycondensing an alcohol component containing an aliphatic diol having 2 to 6 carbon atoms with a carboxylic acid component having 20 mol% or less content of a polyvalent carboxylic acid compound having a valence of 3 or more in the carboxylic acid component. The alkenyl succinic acid component is included preferably by 15 pts.mol in 100 pts.mol of the alcohol component in the amorphous resin (A). The alcohol component of the amorphous resin (A) is preferably an aliphatic diol having 2 to 6 carbon atoms.
